Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using LeaveAReview.co (the "Service"), operated by Business And Profits, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

LeaveAReview.co provides tools that help businesses generate Google review capture pages, track review link clicks, and — with the Auto Reply feature — connect their Google Business Profile to automatically fetch reviews and post AI-drafted replies via Google's APIs.

The Service is intended for business use. You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to act on behalf of the business you represent.

2. Accounts and Access

Certain features of the Service are accessed via a private admin panel. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any access credentials (API keys, access codes, GitHub tokens) and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your credentials. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access caused by your failure to secure your credentials.

3. Google Business Profile Authorization

You must own the connected business or have its owner's authority to manage its Google Business Profile. The owner signs in with Google and authorizes LAR through OAuth. Do not give us your Google password. Select only a location you are authorized to connect.

LAR requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage permission to list manageable accounts and locations, read the selected profile and its reviews, and publish or update review replies. The connection can also support review reporting and team-member attribution. Google controls the permission wording and available API access.

Google authorization and acceptance of these Terms do not by themselves authorize automatic posting. Before Auto Mode is enabled, the business owner must specifically and expressly authorize LAR to generate and publish review replies automatically for the selected location. An agency or operator acting for the owner must obtain and retain that authorization, including the agreed posting preferences. Do not enable automatic posting without it.

Only use Google data for the disclosed business features. Do not resell access to our Google API project or expose it to third parties through scripts or a separate API. You remain responsible for complying with Google's Terms of Service, Business Profile API policies, and applicable review-content rules.

LeaveAReview is an independent service operated by Business And Profits, LLC. Google does not sponsor or endorse LAR. Connecting a profile does not transfer ownership of that profile to us.

4. AI Replies, Review, and Control

We use Anthropic's Claude API to generate replies using review text, business context, tone instructions, and example review/reply pairs, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Examples personalize prompts for your business; the feature does not fine-tune a general-purpose AI model.

OpenAI is a planned additional reply-generation provider and is not currently integrated. If introduced, its use will be disclosed before activation, with any required additional consent. The same owner-authorization, content-review, Google-data use, and retention requirements apply to replies generated through either provider. Provider processing is described in the Privacy Policy; listing a planned provider does not itself activate that integration.

Manual review: examine and edit drafts before choosing to post them.
Auto Mode: after the owner's express authorization, replies can be generated and posted in the background without individual review, using the configured posting preferences. Google access, service availability, and processing schedules can affect timing.
Accuracy: AI can produce incorrect or unsuitable text. You are responsible for the instructions and examples you supply and for monitoring replies published for your business. We do not guarantee accuracy, tone, review volume, rankings, or revenue.
Stop: switch out of Auto Mode, disconnect the business, or contact support@leaveareview.co to withdraw authorization. A request already in progress may complete; already published replies remain on Google.
Public content: replies are published publicly as business responses. Do not include confidential customer information or content that violates Google's prohibited and restricted content policy.

You may remove LAR's authorization through Google Account connections. Revoking access does not itself delete LAR-held data. The LAR Disconnect action attempts Google revocation and removes the main connection, pending connection records, Auto Reply review/draft records, review-attribution records, and writing settings. For other stored records or hosted-page deletion, use the support process in our Privacy Policy.

Disconnecting does not delete reviews or replies already on Google. Authorized business managers can edit or delete their replies through Google's supported controls.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Post false, misleading, or defamatory content, impersonate reviewers, or fabricate reviews
Initiate automatic replies without the business owner's specific express authorization
Sell Google user data or use it for advertising, credit decisions, or training generalized AI models
Violate any applicable law or regulation
Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Use the Service on behalf of a business you do not have authority to represent

We reserve the right to terminate access for any violation of these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and content (excluding your business data), is owned by Business And Profits, LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

Review capture pages generated by the Service and hosted on our platform remain accessible as long as the Service operates. We do not claim ownership of your business information or reviews.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
AI-generated reply drafts will be accurate, appropriate, or free from errors
Google's APIs will remain available or that replies will post successfully
The Service will meet your specific business requirements

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BUSINESS AND PROFITS, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REPUTATION, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Business And Profits, LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) content posted to Google reviews on your behalf; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Google, Anthropic, and Railway. OpenAI is a planned additional provider, subject to the notice and activation conditions in Section 4. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

You may stop using the Service, withdraw automatic-reply authorization, and request disconnection or deletion at any time by contacting support@leaveareview.co. We will provide the ability to disassociate your Business Profile from our service and relinquish our management permissions within seven business days of your termination notice. You can also revoke authorization directly in Google Account connections. Data handling after termination is described in the Privacy Policy. Sections covering disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Business And Profits, LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law. Changes requiring fresh authorization for Google data use or automated actions require that authorization before the changed use begins.
